Terra Nonno Winery

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Wine slushys! Food trucks! Free live music! Dog friendly!

Terra Nonno Vineyards in Rosenhayn, NJ may be new to the South Jersey winery scene but it already is proving to be a formidable entry on the Garden State Wine Trails. The tasting room is bright and airy with high ceilings, large windows, and dangling golden candelabra. But Terra Nonno’s best feature is the land - a bursting ocean of green vineyards. The sling-back chairs and umbrellas dotting the lawn give it a carefree beachy feel, making it the perfect place to kick off your sandals and relax.

Terra Nonno has a surprisingly large selection of wine for a new winery – 17 in all. A flight of three generous pours cost $10 and as always, we elected for the sweeter fare. First up was 2017 Zannella Rose, best described as a delectable, drier version of a White Zinfandel. Next came the 2019 Mom’s Mango which I can’t even begin to praise. I’m not even a mango fan and I absolutely adored this wine. It’s sweet without being syrupy or sugary and paired well with the tacos from the food truck. I’m already a big fan. Our last sample was the 2018 Sweet Pete, a velvet smooth sweet red.

Look out South Jersey, there’s a new winery in town!
